A través de una serie de conversaciones, el director investiga el impacto que tuvo la película Hambre de 1966, basada en la novela de Knut Hamsun, en varias generaciones de artistas en Noruega. La película es reutilizada de diferentes maneras para explorar la función del artista en el presente y hacer un retrato de Oslo, donde fue filmada, desde la perspectiva de un cineasta extranjero.

Through a series of conversations, the filmmaker explores the impact of the 1966 film “Hunger”, based on the novel by Knut Hamsun, on various generations of Norwegian art practice. The film is re-utilized in different ways in order to understand the role of the artist in the present and compose a portrait of Oslo, the city where it was shot, from the perspective of a foreign filmmaker.
